Although I was trained mainly as a print designer, I have had a great deal of both on- and off-the-job motivation to learn web and multimedia design. Through a mixture of taking classes and teaching myself, I have gradually learned a lot about web design and development, although there is always still a lot more to be learned. In the past few years, I have taught myself how to use CSS for positioning and have been creating websites that are more accessible and that adhere to web standards (using CSS and XHTML). I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to design the sites and Adobe Dreamweaver for development, and Iknow enough Javascript and PHP to customize scripts.
Many of the sites I created at my previous job are a little dated and are no longer live. In these cases, I have provided screenshots of some of the pages. And there's always the WayBack Machine!
